Sh. Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Principal Secretary to Govt. Home Department, Govt. of J&K, visited SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu to review Disaster preparedness on 11-05-2019. The meeting was attended by Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu Rashmi Wazir, Director Homeguards / I/C DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu Vikas Gupta and officers of the Battalion. A detailed presentation on the working and Disaster preparedness of SDRF 2nd Battalion as well as the components was presented by the Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu. This visit was in continuation to the visit of Sh. K. Vijay Kumar Advisor (K) to the Hon’ble Governor of J&K on April 24, 2019. Principal Secretary Home laid emphasis on continuous training of the personnel to meet any disaster related exigency. He inspected various Rescue gadgets and Disaster handling equipments.
