In an upcoming episode of In the Ring with Filmfare, Kajol delved into her forthcoming film Sarzameen, providing insights into the project. Renowned for portraying emotionally complex characters, she explained what attracted her to the film and why this particular role is unique. Kajol discussed the story’s intensity, the shifting dynamics between the characters, and the emotional path the narrative follows. “So, Sarzameen is an emotional film. It is an emotional drama. It is about, it’s about a relationship between these three people and who are caught up in it,” she shared. Adding, “And it’s just series of events that they are caught up in and it’s tight, it’s taut.”On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the supernatural drama Maa, directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. She is now gearing up for the release of Sarzameen, an emotional drama helmed by Kayoze Irani, where she shares the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. The film premieres on July 25 on Jio Hotstar. Coming up, she will also appear in Maharagni, alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Prabhu Deva. Beyond her film projects, Kajol is set to make a special appearance on an upcoming talk show with Twinkle Khanna.
