Karan Johar’s upcoming film ‘Kalank’ is in the news for all the right reasons. The film has also made headlines because of its stellar star cast consisting of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt.
Recently there was news that Madhuri might play a dancer in the film, but now according to reports by an entertainment portal, Madhuri will reportedly be seen playing a courtesan in the movie.
A source close to the portal revealed that Madhuri will be a trained Kathak dancer in the movie, and she will be seen teaching others the dance form. Madhuri is reportedly putting in 4-5 hours for the rehearsals.
The source further revealed that though Madhuri had played the role of a courtesan in ‘Devdas’, here this character will be way different from Chandramukhi.
Speaking about Sanjay Dutt’s character the source added that he will be seen playing a king in the period drama. However, the source further added that not much details of Sanjay’s character have been revealed. Right now the director is shooting with Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha.
