Kathua Campus, University of Jammu organized hands-on training on Information Technology under dynamic education series. The initiative aimed to provide real-world exposure to students from Government Girls High School Nagri (Kathua), who visited the Kathua Campus as part of their industrial visit.The visit began with a warm welcome by the faculty members of the Kathua Campus, followed by interactive sessions.
The sessions provided the students with hands-on exposure to real-time applications and learning, giving them a glimpse into the workings of the IT industry. From laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology to research centers fostering innovation, the students witnessed firsthand conducive learning environments provided by the institution. The establishment of various laboratories and infrastructure showcased the campus’s high-tech technological resources, enabling the students to witness the integration of academic learning with modern technological advancements. The exchange of ideas and experiences served to inspire and motivate the students, encouraging them to explore their interests and pursue academic excellence.Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus (JU) interacted with the visiting students. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives, highlighting how they play a crucial role in providing students with a platform to apply their classroom knowledge in practical, real-world scenarios. Dr. Shivani Sharma, Dr. Nomita Sharma, Dr. Ritu Sharma, Er. Amarjeet Chopra, Er. Jeewanjot, Er. Rakshit Khajuria interacted with the students explaining the range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the Campus.
