Former deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta along with MLC Vikram Randhawa in presence of Councillor Neeraj Puritoday laid foundation stone of public Bathrooms near Panch Mandir, ward-54, Trikuta Nagar.
The public Bath rooms/ toilet would be constructed by JMC which was long pending demand of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that the complex has been constructed as part of the national Swachh Bharat Mission launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the government wants to discourage open defecation and arrangements are being made to promote hygienic toilets in the area along with bathing facility as well.
“Our Prime Minister Modi has launched Swacch Bharat mission and more and more number of people are joining the mission to clean surroundings all across the nation,” he added.
He Further said that the nation needs more facilities of public utility to make ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’ a grand success. He said in the absence of toiletries, the public is forced to urinate in the open which further causes unhygienic surrounding. He said that every crowded market needs a public utility centre so that proper sanitation and hygiene is maintained.Gupta directed the JMC officials to complete the work within stipulated time so that the utility centre is dedicated to the public for use. Gupta said the policies and initiatives taken by Prime Minister Modi in last five years led to the victory of BJP in 2019. Since BJP is only the ideology based party in India, 2019 results proved that people accepted the ideology of BJP Nationwide.
Gupta appealed to workers and locals present on the occasion to work hard to reach out to public with the development initiatives, socio economic policies for up-liftment of weaker sections of society, defence policy, foreign policy and all such bold initiative taken by Modi Govt. since May-2014. He said we have a chance of going to every door step with a motto of adding more and more members to the BJP family.

Neeraj Puri Councillor ward 54, thanked senior leaders and brought to the notice that with the help of Kavinder Gupta we are going to get the administrative approval for the remaining projects of Roads up-gradation in Trikuta Nagar and soon the work shall be executed. He appealed to the public to approach in case of any problem so the needful can be done on priority.
