Over 250 Yatris from Ahmedabad, Gujarat travelled to Katra, paid obeisance at cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi and celebrated a Grand Event to mark the 69thbirthday celebrations of our beloved and Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. NarendraModi. These families, led by Ajay Modi from Gujarat, travelled all the way to Katrato offer their prayers to mark the day, which they believe is very auspicious and important for India as it marks the birth day of NarendraModi. Former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, Kavinder Gupta, and BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) State Executive Member, Raman Suri, were special invitees at Katra, where the guests/devotees recited bhajan and kirtan and later performed Gujarati traditional dance ofGarbaand cut a huge cake, which was distributed amongst commoners present on the occassion. It was followed by Gujarati dinner, which everyone ate as Prasad. They also distributed sweets amongst the needy and prayed for long life of NarendraModi. Earlier, they took out a procession in which all 250 happy hands were holding and swinging our beloved Tiranga, and were raising slogans for long life of NarendraModi in Katra.
The valuable presence of Former Deputy CM of J&K added grace to the event. Speaking on the occasion,KavinderGupta, welcomed the pilgrims to Jammu and Kashmir and said that their arrival to celebrate the birthday of NarendraModi here in Katra is a great gesture.
Raman Suri in his speech appreciated the spirit of people and said that such a staunch support is the reason behind abrogation of Article 370.Suri, in his address, prayed for long and healthy life of NarendraModi and said that his vision has made India blink on international Map of development, peace and progress.
He said that these Gujarati families have shown their high spirit in travelling all the way to Katra and paying obeisance at the cave shrine. This gesture, he added, will also boost our tourism and encourage others to follow. Greeting NarendraModi on his birthday, Raman Suri said that he represents entire India in most effective manner and has given nation a new direction by launching schemes like Jan DhanYojana, Swachh BharatAbhiyan, Housing for all, Electricity to each and every home, and special schemes for Girl child.
