Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta accompanied by senior functionaries of Industries & Commerce Department today paid maiden visit to Industrial Estates, Sanat Nagar and Rangreth and took stock of the activities of various industrial units functioning there.
The Deputy Chief Minister went around various units at both these estates and evinced keen interest in their functioning vis-à-vis production, quality and status of facilities like availability of power, drinking water, road connectivity. He also interacted with the owners of various industrial units and received feedback of facilities and activities of their units. At Rangreth, the Members of Industrial Estate Association apprised the Deputy Chief Minister about the problems being faced by them and called for improving the existing infrastructural facilities like electricity, road connectivity, drains, sanitation, healthcare and other related facilities for the workers. They also demanded a suitable piece of land for establishing the office of the Association within the industrial estate.
