Jammu’s star shooter, Kavya Kochhar, has once again showcased her extraordinary talent by clinching a hat-trick of medals at the prestigious 0755 India Open Shooting Championship 2024being held in Bhopal from November 19 to 28. Kavya dominated the competition with a GOLD medal in the 50-meter pistol women’s event, a SILVER medal in the 25-meter sports pistol event, and another SILVER medal in the 10-meter air pistol event, bringing immense pride to Jammu and Kashmir.Kavya Kochharfrom the J&K Police Club, has been training under the expert guidance of Shri Rajesh Virdhy, Madhupal Singh, and Shri Vijay Kumar, coaches of J&K Police, as well as Sh. Pardeep Kumar of Chandigarh, whose mentorship have been integral to her success.Her consistent performances at national-level events have earned her numerous accolades, and this latest success solidifies her position as one of India’s top shooters. Her latest hattrick performance adds to her impressive list of achievements, which includes multiple gold and silver medals in national and zonal championships. Known for her determination and skill, Kavya continues to inspire young athletes with her consistent excellence in the sport, demonstrating her unwavering focus and precision under pressure.Sh.
