JAMMU, June 19:
The KC Cricket Club (KCCC) today qualified for the final to take on Vishal Cricket Club in the title clash of the ongoing JKCA Premier Cricket Championship in under-16 category for district Jammu at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
In the semifinal, KCCC trounced Patel Cricket Club by a huge margin of 55 runs. Batting first, Vishal
bowled out for 147 runs in 25 overs a side game. Abhey Tandon remained highest scorer with 52-ball 54 runs while Nishank and Prachit contributed 38 and 20 runs respectively. From Vishal Patel Club, Hazla claimed three wickets and Ansh took two. In reply, Patel Club could not do well and bundled out for 91 runs in 19.2 overs. Prabjot remained top scorer with 17-ball 21 runs while Jaya Dev and Atharv contributed 18 and 16 runs respectively. Nityam claimed two wickets. Later, Abhey Tondon was named man of the match for his half century. Ashok Singh and Rahul Kumar were umpires while Saleem Ur Rehman was scorer in today’s Semifinal.
