KCIS Celebrates 13t Annual Day- Shraddhanjali

JAMMU, Nov 30:
The KC International School (KCIS) Jammu celebrated its 13th Annual Day recompense the depletion of those unforgettable souls who were the indispensible part of the KCIS family through the theme ‘Shraddhanjali’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium on the JU Campus, here today.
On the occasion, IGP Home Guard, Basant Rath was the chief guest, while Sidarath Arora was the guest of honour. Among other dignitaries present were Chaitanya Chowdhary (Vice Chairman), Saroj Mahajan, Vishal Chowdhary, Shikha Chowdhary and Principal, Subhendu Sarkar.
Both chief guest IGP Basant Rath and guest of honour, Sidarath Arora congratulated the management, staff and students for working with fervor and spirit and making the Annual Day indelible.
Earlier, the event commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp to offer prayers to the Almighty by enchanting ‘Shllokas’. Followed by the School orchestra welcoming the elite gathering by enthralling them with their melodious music.
An invocational Dance ‘Asatoma sad Gamaya’ was the opening item which was indeed a spiritual transaction with the creator of Heaven and Earth. The day was marked in the remembrance of the Chairman Late Vinay Mahajan. So a special tribute was given by the entire KCIS family to the immortal soul.
The event was coalesced with the performance like Mary and Angels – ‘A prayer for Peace’, to attain glory through Mother Mary’s eternal bliss. The soulful and eternal dance eased everyone’s heart. A dance recital Krishna – A Folklore in flute and feet was presented which gave an insight into the innumerable episodes in the entire lifetime of Krishna, depicting his mischievous nature, love for his friends and stories of his childhood.
Everyone witnessed Krishna’s mighty dance over the subdued Kaliya Naag, and a dance ballet portraying Radha’s divine love for Krishna.
The main highlight of the programme was ‘Shraddhanjali to a towering nationalist and former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee through an enactment ‘Atal Ek Prernatmak Srot’. The play showcased the selfless sacrifices Vajpayee made for our country, invocating humankind.
The Principal of the School, Subhendu Sarkar presented the Annual Report highlighting the accolades of the institution. The students were also felicitated for their exemplary performance in academics and co-curricular activities.
The vote of thanks presented by vice chairman of KCIS, Chaitanya Chowdhary. The event concluded with a closing medley appreciating and cherishing the present moment and tearing behind the thoughts of emptiness.
