Sikh Progressive Front organises “SARBAT DA BHALAA TOURNAMENT dedicated to the 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devj Ji, at K.K Hakku Stadium Jammu. The tournament shall be played on knock out basis from 20th to 26th of October.
Today in a very interesting matches Khadur Sahib Hockey Academy beats Gurdaspur Hockey XI with margin of 5-2 and in another match Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd Patiala beats Pathankot Hockey XI by 4-2. Sh Vikas Rana , Balkar Singh & Goutam Kumar Charanjit Singh, Sarbjit Singh from Khadur Sahib team scored one goal each and S. Jashan Deep Singh scored lone goal for Gurdaspur XI.
S. K.S Rissam Vice Chancellor SKUAST Jammuwas the chief guest in the first Match while SSP Jammu S. Tejinder Singh IPS was the Chief guest and S. Swarn Singh Astt. Commissioner Transport was the Guest of Honour in the second match played between PSPCL and Pathankot XI.
In the other match from for Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd Rajesh Kumar scored ist goal, Jatin Kumar scored three goals and last goal was scored by Ravinder Singh . for Pathankot XI Ramaji & Rajesh Kumar scored 1 goal each.
Balkar Singh of Khadur Sahib and Jatin Kumar from PSPCL, Patiala was awarded man of the Match in their respective matches.
Todays matches were supervised by umpires Karanjit Singh, Jagjit Singh Manjit Singh, J.S Reen, Dalbir Mehta, Gurjit Singh, Charanjit Singh, Iqbal Singh & tournament Director S. Satvir Singh Satti.
Todays main was the presence of three junior international players.
As per fixture tomorrows matches are as under , First match shall be played between Guru Nanak Club V/S Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd Patiala and 2nd match between BSF Jammu V/S SGPC Hockey Academy Amritsar at 1.30 PM and the third match between Khals Club and Peaks XI Kmr. at 3.00 PM.
