Khajuria, Sethi distribute ration among inmates of Deaf & Dumb Ashram under ‘Sewa Saptah’

As part of ongoing ‘Sewa Saptah’ initiative, senior BJP leader and MLC Ashok Khajuria and Party’s General Secretary, Yudhvir Sethi on Wednesday distributed ration and eatable items among the inmates of Deaf and Dumb Ashram, Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu.
The National leadership of BJP has decided that it will celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as ‘Seva Saptah’ starting September 14 to 20. Several social initiatives will be undertaken by the party leaders across the nation during this week-long period.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Ashok Khajuria said that today’s programme is part of Sewa Saptah.
He further said that the weeklong programmes in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi carry significance and directly linked to the service of nation and mankind. He said that organizing different programmes in a week also provide an opportunity to reach the people and make them familiar with the message of serving humanity, keeping environment healthy and leading a fit life. He added that BJP leadership is working with commitment to uplift every neglected section in the society proceeding by the party principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas” and that is quite evident by the grant of all basic rights to the specific sections living in the region.
Yudhvir Sethi, in his address, said that peace, prosperity and welfare of the Jammu and Kashmir is the top most priority of our Prime Narendra Modi who dedicated his whole life for the service of humanity. He said that due to the strong leadership at Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have achieved the goal ‘Ek Vidhan-Ek Nishan’.
Sethi emphasized that BJP’s ideology is integral to the culture and daily life of the people of the country and it never distinguishes Indians on communal lines in contrast to the narrative being propagated by leaders of parties which are its adversaries.
Among others who were present included Sunil Dogra, Kuldeep Khandari, Ramesh Gupta, Pawan Sharma, Govind Sarin, Susheel Sharma, Pt Viney Sharma, Hari Om, Chaman Angral, Sudir Anand, Kartar Mahajan, Vinod Gupta, Gulshan Prajapati, Shubam Sharma, Rinko, Sureka, Satish Kumar Bali.
