BJP National Vice-President & Incharge Jammu & Kashmir State, Avinash Rai Khanna, called on Jagat Prakash Nadda at New Delhi and extended his congratulation to him on being nominated as Working National President of the party.
Avinash Rai Khanna and Jagat Prakash Nadda has long association in the party and worked together on many assignments of the organization in the past. Being tall leaders of the neighbouring states of Punjab and Himchal Pradesh, both have the distinction of having serve their state units in various capacities before being given tasks at national level.
As far Jagat Prakash Nadda he was the BJYM National President besides MLA from Bilaspur, MP Rajya Sabha from Himachal Pradesh, Forest Minister in Himachal Pradesh Government before being elevated as Union Health Minister in the previous Narendra Modi government at the Centre.
Nadda also contributed in 2014 and 2015 Lok Sabha and assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir while he was here during the poll campaign for BJP.
