REASI, Oct 01:
The district administration conducted wrestling meet involving around 150 young boys and girls under Khelo India at Middle School Arnas in Block Darmari. Football under-19 competition was also part of the event.
The event held under the supervision of Naresh Kumar while Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Jagdev Singh, Arun Dev Singh, Opinder Pal Singh and Anil Kumar comprised the technical penal.
In this competition, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dhamari was the chief guest, who interacted with the participants.

BOYS: 28-32 kg: Ashok Singh (Sersinduaan), Ist and Balwinder (Sawallakote), 2nd. 32-38 kg: Abbu Kumar (Sesinduaan), Ist and Talib Hussain (Garh), 2nd. 38-42 kg: Rohit Singh (Dharan), Ist and Manjeet Singh (Arnas), 2nd. 42-46 kg: Sunil (Pannassa), Ist and Rakesh (Sarthal Kote), 2nd. 46-50 kg: Chatter Singh (Pannasa), Ist and Rakesh (Jandii), 2nd. 50-55 kg: Mohan Sharma (Chinkah), Ist and Irshad Hussain (Judda), 2nd. 550-59 kg: Onkar Singh, Ist and Kulvir Singh, 2nd. 59-65 kg: Kuldeep (Judda), Ist and Sandeep Singh (Chorakote), 2nd.
GIRLS: 26-32 kg: Neelam (Sawlakote), Ist and Priyanka (Thakrakote), 2nd. 32-36 kg: Rachna, Ist and Sunita, 2nd. 36-40 kg: Beyasso Devi, Ist and Arti Devi, 2nd. 40-45 kg: Rinku Devi, Ist and Preet Devi, 2nd. 45-50 kg: Shivali Devi, Ist and Priyanka Devi, 2nd.
FOOTBALL: The under-17 boys football title went to Government High School Salal Cluster, who defeated Sailanjan 2-1. Sushil 29th and Rohit Kumar (51st) scored for the winning side.
The girls under-17 football final won by GHS Cluster Panasa. Mamta Devi was the lone scorer, who brought in the decider in the last minutes of the game.
