A district-level event was organized at the District Administration Complex, Mini Secretariat Kishtwar, to celebrate the inauguration of 10,000 new M-PACS, Dairy and Fishery Cooperative Societies across the nation.
The event was aligned with the mega event held at ICAR, Pusa Road, New Delhi, which was graced by the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah.
Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan was the Chief Guest of the district-level event. The program was organized by the Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies (Agri.) Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal.
The event witnessed participation from Dairy and Fishery Cooperative Societies newly registered in the district.
All participants connected virtually to the mega event held in New Delhi.
The Deputy Commissioner distributed registration certificates to the newly established Dairy Cooperatives and commended the contributions made by Cooperatives to the economy.
The event was also attended by the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Kishtwar, representatives from CMS, PACS and officials from the Department of Cooperatives.
