Kishtwar Police have constituted a special team to nab the robbers who looted a whopping 19.50 lakh rupees from a remote branch of Jammu Kashmir Bank in the Dachan area of Kishtwar district.
According to a police official, a special team has been constituted and the investigation intensified to crack the bank robbery as soon as possible. The police official added that the CCTV footage concerning the incident has also been obtained and some employees and security guards are being questioned in this regard. Pertinently, some unidentified robbers looted approximately Rs 19.50 lakh from a Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch in the remote Dachan area on Monday

early in the morning as the bank was closed.
The robbers managed to gain access to the branch and flew away with cash before authorities could respond.
Officials told KNT that Dachan remains largely cut off during the winter months due to harsh weather conditions, making it difficult to access.
“The remote location may have worked in the favor of the criminals, delaying immediate response efforts.”
The official added that the security agencies have been put on alert and local residents have been urged to report any suspicious activity that may help in tracking down the robbers.
