Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today emphasized on the need for promotion of latest technologies for accelerating the growth of Sheep Husbandry sector and to improve the socio-economic condition of farmers and nomads associated with livestock rearing. The Minister was chairing a meeting convened to review the functioning of department and implementation of schemes. The meeting was attended by the Commissioner Secretary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, R.K. Bhagat, Director Sheep Husbandry, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Director Animal Husbandry, Dr. Victor Koul besides other senior officers.
