Jammu, July 10 : Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) appeals all nationalists in particular Kashmiri Pandits to observe July 13,2019 as” BLACK DAY” as a mark of protest by wearing black badges and educate others about the dimensions of the first organized violence in 1931 against the Kashmiri Pandits by the anti–KP and Muslim fundamentalists of Kashmir and also narrate the horror tales of this day in village Kanikote in Budgam,Maharajganj,Bhori Kadal,, Vicharnag and other places in Srinagar , Kashmir.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC said that this day in 1931 marks the beginning of the first organized genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, when there was loot, massacre, arson and killing of the Kashmiri Pandits and other Hindus.and the present plight of Kashmiri pundits in exile has a direct link with what happened with the community for hundreds of years.
KPC appeals Kashmiri Pandit community not to forget their innocent brethren who laid their lives and made scarifies for their principle and nationhood.and to remain united to fight against the injustice and the rights snatched from us.
