Kalakote People Forum (KPF) on Monday urged Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehabooba Mufti to deal strictly with people who were behaving like “miscreants” and tried to disturb peace in Kalakote of Rajouri District. Speaking to the media, over dozen Kalakote residence headed by president of Kalakote People Forum, Thakur Surinder Singh Bharti said present government initiated several infrastructure development works in remotest Kalakote area of Rajouri due to which opponent got scared and involved in dirty tricks to disturb peace and tranquility of peace loving town.
“Some peoples on the behest of former MLA involved in hooliganism and disturbing the atmosphere of the town. Many hooligans are already booked under various FIRs including recent trashing Minister PRO in Kalakote, inciting communal tension, murder of two girls and one police cop and abetting for suicide to sarpanch Ranjit Singh 07.04.2016 over some land dispute in which real bother of ex MLA was involved,” he said “We only demanded investigate of all these cases and also booked notorious persons under PSA to maintain communal harmony of the town,” he said. “Majority of the people demanding action against people who are behaving like miscreants and terrorizing the innocent,” he said. We appealed government, particularly Chief Minister to take action against miscreants so development complete soon. Prominent who presented on the occasion were vice president Haji Abdul Haq, Vikram Sharma, Lal Hussain, Capt Raj Kumar and others.
