Kritika Kamra, known for her strong performances in digital series like Gyaraah Gyaraah and the upcoming Matka King, has been making waves in the digital space. Despite her successful debut in films with Mitron (2018) and Bheed (2023), Kamra has been very selective about the film projects she takes on. When asked about her cautious approach, she explained that she values theatrical releases that offer substantial and meaningful roles. Kritika Kamra revealed that she once turned down a film opposite a major actor because she felt the role didn’t offer much substance. “Yes, it has happened a couple of times and one time the film went on to become a big hit. I don’t know what it did for the actress who played the part I was in talks for,” she shared. Despite the film’s success, Kamra has no regrets about her decision. She elaborated, “It was a few years back and it was something opposite a mainstream actor, and I thought that the part didn’t have much to do in it. I could have been thought of it as a bad decision, but I don’t look at it that way. I wouldn’t have been proud of it.”Kritika’s career trajectory highlights a strong preference for digital projects, where she feels she has found more meaningful opportunities. Her performances in series like Tandav (2021), Hush Hush (2022), and Bambai Meri Jaan (2023) have established her as a prominent figure in the digital space. Kamra believes that digital platforms offer significant opportunities that align more closely with her artistic aspirations.
