2nd defense line must be created in Rajouri to annihilate the monster of militancy and meeting out the challenges imposed by unemployment in the region, this was requested to Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh by former MoS Pahari Speaking Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta.
Kuldeep Raj Gupta accompanied by BJP State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra was addressing media persons at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Gupta, disclosed that he congratulated the Union Defense Minister of India for taking bold stance on issues related to the defense of India. He said that he also conveyed his congratulations to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi for removing Articles 370 and 350(a) from J&K state. Kuldeep Raj Gupta, stressed that Paharis are the intelligent and patriotic community that has always contributed to the safety of the boundaries of Nation. He said that since 1947, Paharis have witnessed the worst time due to the misadventures and aggressions actively done by neighbouring rogue state Pakistan. He said that we have witnessed Gurilla wars, direct aggression, Kabaili attacks, massacre of our children and elders and molestations of our women and also seen the resistance by our people with only crude weapons.
Gupta disclosed that he submitted a memorandum to Defense Minister in Delhi and raised certain burning issues concerning the Pahari community. Gupta, stated that being a dedicated and active BJP activist of remote district of J&K state, he has visited the LOC by foot many times and observed that there are many gaps, nallahas and rivers from where infiltrators and militants can easily enter in our territory. He said that he requested the Defense Minister to please sanction a second defense line for LOC of district Rajouri and Poonch. The youth of Rajouri and Poonch adjoining the LOC areas should be recruited as SPO’s.
Doordarshan Kendar and radio station had been sanctioned for Rajouri District of J&K state. Hefty amount was invested for installing the mentioned Doordarshan Kendar and Radio Station for the Rajouri district of J&K State. But despite of investing such huge amount for Doordarshan and Radio Station for the said mentioned district it’s not functional. He requested for its quick implementation to help counter the foreign propaganda. 3% quote was sanctioned by the centre government but still so far it is not applicable for the development of Pahari speaking people of J&K state. Now your good self is requested please make a nod for immediately applicable of ST status for Pahari speaking people of J&K State.
