Kyra Thakyal (Prep-C), a child prodigy from Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and her parents by winning 2 gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship 2024 organized by Rohit Martial Art Academy held at Uttarakhand from 16-17 November, 2024. She had participated in Fighting event and Poomsae event in below 18 kg girls category. Kyra had also received merit certificate.The esteemed management of DPS Jammu under the leadership of Hon’ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajashatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon’ble Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi Ji along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated Kyra for her glorious achievement. They also commended the dedication and efforts of Coach, Mr. Suresh Kumar for his unwavering support. Further, they also extended their best wishes to her for all her future endeavours.
