Lagan Society for Art and Culture felicitated Bollywood and Pollywood Actor Mr. Swatantra Bharat here today. By rocking in the bollywood cinema with his character roles, the son of soil Mr. Swatantra Bharat hailing from Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu is also giving commendable performances and keeping his fans spell bound in the pollywood movies too. A very calm and coop personality Swatantra Bharat was born on April 11 to the couple Late Sh. Shivanand (A Sciencific Officer, Bio-Science Department, University of Jammu) and Smt. Sudarshana Devi. He did his schooling from RRL School, Model Academy and Sri Ranbir Hr. Sec. School and later moved to New Delhi to pursue Fashion Designing Course. Swatantra Bharat is seen in many Bollywood movies like Welcome, Singh is King, Rowdy Rathore, Jannat, De Dhanaa dhan, Wanted, Singh is Bling and many more. The dignitaries and executive body members of Lagan Society for Art and Culture present on the occasion felicitated Mr. Bharat with a Dogra Pagri and memento to mark his contribution to the Indian Cinema. Mr. Rohit Bains (Secretary, LSAC) compared the proceedings in a befitting manner. Mr. Bharat, while speaking, humbly expressed his gratitude and said that it is because of the blessings of the parents and God Almighty that he got inspiration to do his bit. He is also active in exploration of ancient temples and promoting cultural heritage of Indian Society. He also said that he will always remain with Lagan Society for Art and Culture for each social and cultural activities.
Other prominent persons who participated include Adv. Sandeep Gupta (Patron, LSAC), Anil Kumar (Advisor, LSAC), Dr. Jugmohan Singh, Shubham Manmar (IT Incharge, LSAC), Vikas Khajuria (Media Incharge, LSAC) and family members & relatives of Mr. Bharat.
