Thailand has become the go-to-destination for Bollywood celebrities! After Mouni Roy, actress Rakul Preet Singh celebrated her birthday on a grand note in Phuket, a city of Thailand. The De De Pyaar De star turned a year older and wiser yesterday. And she made the most of her Thai vacation. Rakul reached Phuket on Wednesday and enjoyed her special with her parents Col Kulwinder Singh and Rajender Kaur. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, all the way from the Thai city, the actress said, “This is one of the best birthdays I have had. I am staying at this beautiful beach property in Phuket and began my day with a workout, followed by a walk in the greens, a bit of yoga amidst flowers and a hearty breakfast. I am glad I kickstarted my day by doing things that I love the most, a healthy routine and great food.” Elaborating more on how she spent her 29th birthday, the actress added, “I had been looking forward to this trip as I don’t get enough time to spend with my parents. We hung out at the beach, jetskied and just relaxed. It was a wonderful day.” After having one of her best birthdays, Rakul Preet Singh returns to Mumbai today. She will be soon back to her basics. On the work front, she will be next seen in Milap Zaveri’s Marjaavaan with Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh. Describing her role in Marjaavaan as ‘different’, she had earlier told IANS, “Milap loves giving ‘bhaari bharkam’ (hard-hitting) dialogues and when I signed this film, he said my heroes have always had big dialogues. This is the first time my heroine also has. On being asked about her equation with co-star Sidharth Malhotra, she had mentioned, “It is fun to work with someone you know you get along well with. Sidharth and I hit it off well during ‘Aiyaary’ because he is from Delhi and so am I. He is a very grounded, nice boy and fun to work with. I think that equation definitely shows on screen.
