The ongoing agitation of Dharmarth Trust Employees Association (DTEA) entered 87th day while chain hunger strike entered 60th day on Thursday in support of their demands to constitute a constitute a shrine board for all the temples under Dharmarth trust.
Striking employees assembled in a large number and raised slogans against the government.
Speaking on the occasion, President of the Association, Vivek Bandral urged the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to constitute a committee for resolving the issues at the earliest.
She said that their agitation would continue till a Board is not constituted for all temples under Dharmarth Trust.
Reacting sharply to President Dharmarth Trust remarks on striking employees, the association president said that regular Puja and Arti are performing by Pujaris since day one of strike.
The president of the Trust used word ‘Ration’ instead of ‘Bhog/Navid’ which is humiliating to Sanatani, she said.
Meanwhile, the persons who sat on hunger strike today include Dinesh Singh, Bablu, Pt Ram Pal, Pt Rajpal, Pt Bushan, Gopal, Darshan, Sachin Kumar, Pritam Chand and Rajesh. Others present during the protest included Ex-president Thakur Kernail Chand, Ex-General Secretary Pritam Sharma, Sunit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Subash, Pt Parshotam, Pt Brijmohan Sharma, Pt Om Parkash, Pt Rampal, Pt Balwant Shastri, Vimal Khajuria, Sat Paul, Pawan, Deepu, Rinku, Makhnu, Jivan, Bushan, Sonali, Renu, Anju, Sheetal, Sonika, Sukeshni, Rita Salathia, Rekha, Ritu Devi, Harbans Lal, Surjeet Singh Slathia, Parshotam Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Jagjeet Chand, Sahil Sharma, Pt Babu Bishambar Lal, Raj Kumari, Leela Devi, Sheetal, Ritu Rajput, Jyoti, Sheela Devi, Savita Jamwal, Kanchan, Rajni, Nisha and Sonika.
