Bhumi Pednekar recently starred in the Netflix show The Royals, marking her first on-screen collaboration with veteran actress Zeenat Aman. In a recent statement, Bhumi’s co-star Lisa Mishra drew similarities between the two, referring to Bhumi as a ‘mini’ version of Zeenat Aman. “One great thing they both have in common is they are really modern and confident women. In different generations, they both have played these roles every time, every one of their choices has always been very forward-thinking and very modern. So, it’s incredible, it’s like seeing a mini Zeenat Aman in Bhumi. It’s amazing to be around women who are so empowered, strong and accomplished,” shared Lisa Mishra. Ever since the show landed on OTT, the audiences responded to her performance and acknowledged her for picking a contemporary role. While she receives attention for The Royals, she will be seen in the upcoming thriller Daldal. Though the details of the same are kept under wraps, Bhumi is set to appear in a new kind of role.
