LJP ( R ) announces eleven candidates for various assembly constituencies in Jammu region

Lok Janshakti Party ( R ) J&KUT President Rafiq Malik has geared – up political activities in Jammu region with a series of public meetings. Addressing media persons at Ajay farms near TVS agency, Swankha Morh , Vijaypur Malik said, “We are holding regular public meetings at various places across Jammu region to educate people about the policy and programs of Party that would come into force, if the Party forms the next Govt in Jammu and Kashmir,” said Malik.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include Rk Bali State Advisor JKUT, Varun Bali State Sr Vice President JKUT, RP Singh State Sr General Secretary, Shakeel Ahmed State General Secretary, Vikram Singh State General Secretary, Dickey Singh State Coordinator, Puran Chand Malohotra State Secretary, Sanju Bhagat State Secretary, Lakhvinder Singh State Secretary, Inder Manhas Jammu Province President, Kamaljeet Jammu Province Vice President, Inderjeet Singh Distt President Samba, Mohinder Pal Singh Jammu Province Secretary, Shehbaz Malik State Youth President,Arbaz Malik State Vice President Youth Wing,Qadar Malik State General Secratary Youth Wing,Mk Bhat State President Migrant Cell, Gurdev Singh State President Sikh Minority.
On this occasion, Malik announced name of contesting candidates which includes Shahbaz Malik, State Youth President JKUT from Jammu East constituency, Sidhant Bali from Jammu West, Inderjeet, District President Samba from Vijaypur constituency, Iqpal Singh, State Youth Vice-President from R.S Pura Jammu-South Constituency, Rajinder Verma from Marh constituency, Ravinder Manhas from Samba constituency, Puran Chand Malhotra, State Secretary JKUT from Nagrota constituency, Sanju Bhagat, State Secretary JKUT from Ram Nagar constituency. Mohsin Imtiyaz, District President Doda from Bhaderwah constituency, Mahraj Krishan Bhat, State President Migrant Cell JKUT from Habakadal constituency, Ashik Hussain Ganie from Baramulla constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik said that the people were in distress and there was a feeling of alienation among the people because the administration was not responding to them nor the issues of public concerns were addressed.
“The administration has created an atmosphere where what the public says has no value and it violates the basic democratic values of the country.
Therefore, the elections in Jammu and Kashmir were important to elect a Govt of the choice of the people,” he added.
Malik said that the people have lost their faith in the traditional parties for their hollow slogans and divisive politics that has created an atmosphere of misunderstanding in the society for one reason or the other.He said that “For last 70 years, the traditional parties exploited the people on regional or religious basis and returned to power from time to time, but they hardly ensured equitable development, employment, and protection of resources of the people in their respective areas.”
Malik advocated that Jammu and Kashmir should have a sustainable development with a balance to protect its forests, ecology and wildlife which is facing a major threat from urbanization.He also assured the people that if the Party comes to power, they will ensure that the people get employment opportunities at the village level and opportunities for the upliftment of their livelihood, health care and education system.Meanwhile, he also elaborated the party’s agenda of development, and other welfare schemes that would be implemented in case the party forms the Govt in Jammu and Kashmir following the recently announced assembly elections.
