Prominent socio-political activist Ravinder Singh along with his supporters today joined LJP ( R ) in a formal event held at party office in Jammu today.The induction ceremony was organized in presence of Rafiq Malik State President JKUT who welcomed the activists into the party’s ranks and immediately appointed State General Secretary Sikh Minority Wing JKUT.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik emphasized the importance of socio-political leaders in contributing to a harmonious and equitable society.
He expressed confidence that the new incumbents would bring valuable insights and energy to LJP’s mission.He said that “a realization has dawned on the people that there is new alternative now available in LJP ( R ) and the party capable of representing the social, political and economic aspirations and multifarious problems effectively and single-mindedly of the people of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Malik said that the state is going through very difficult times and it is the people who have an important and valuable role to play in addressing the challenges faced by the people.
He said a decisive battle is needed to be fought against divisive forces, who have taken central stage by exploiting regional and religious sentiments to further their myopic and nefarious political agenda.” “Our party has a rich legacy of serving the poor with sincerity and dedication and we pledge to continue this mission by ensuring social justice and economic equality”, he affirmed.
Malik however demanded Govt to provide adequate opportunities for marginalized groups in terms of employment, education and social security. He said that LJP is committed to uplift the weaker sections in J&K.He highlighted LJP ( R ) unwavering commitment to the socio-economic empowerment of the marginalized. He said “The downtrodden and the poor represent a significant section of our population that has been consistently deprived of basic necessities such as livelihood, education, property and employment opportunities.”He emphasized that LJP has always been at the forefront of taking bold initiatives to elevate the status of these communities, providing them with equal opportunities for growth and development.
