LJP (R) Parliamentary Board to decide contesting J&K Assembly elections: AK Bajpai

Arvind Kumar Bajpai National Senior Vice President LJP ( R) accompanied by Kunwar Asim Khan National President Minority Cell, Nitin Bajpai National President Legal Cell Rafiq Malik State President JKUT, Shahbaz Malik State Youth President JKUT today in a press conference at Hotel Cantrine informed that LJP ® Parliamentary Board whose Chairman is Union Cabinet Minister Chirag Paswan has been mandated to decide contesting Assembly elections in J&K. Addressing Media persons, Bajpai said that today nearly forty potential candidates were interviewed Who are very much capable to contest Assembly elections in J&K but the final decision will be taken by Chirag Paswan after the discussion done here will be brought into his kind notice for further action in this regard. Bajpai further said that in a scheduled meeting with Chirag Paswan tomorrow, Parliamentary Board of party may announce the names of the candidates who will be contesting the Assembly elections to galvanize the party’s supporters and strengthen its position ahead of the elections. He said Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) remains committed to addressing the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring that their voices are heard in the upcoming elections.
Bajpai further said that said LJP is a party of the people and for the people who want to serve the nation in a transparent way and to strengthen the roots of our world famous democracy with a secular fabric. He added that it is due to the credibility of the party that the youth, students and right thinking people want to work for the party under the most trusted and matured leadership of Chirag Paswan. He said LJP is committed to provide a vibrant platform to youths to play their designated role in the state polity and help in shaping its politico-economic destiny. Bajpai however said that Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) is prominent member of NDA and party will never ever do anything which hurts Party’s stand in NDA Alliance and will abide by any direction by Party President Chirag Paswan regarding J&K Assembly elections and will accordingly take further course of action in J&K UT. Malik said that people expecting an early restoration of Statehood ahead of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir but same was unnecessarily put on hold.He said that LJP believes in the service of people and has from day one pursued the issues that matter the most for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that LJP will never compromise on its socio-economic and political agenda and will ensure that whatever has been promised is delivered on the ground.
