Several prominent social and political activists on Tuesday joined Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) ‘Ram Vilas’ in presence of its UT J&K President Rafiq Malik, RP Singh State Sr General Secretary JKUT, Shakeel Ahmed State General Secretary JKUT,Puran Chand Malhotra State Secretary JKUT, Mahraj Krishan Bhat State President Migrant Cell JKUT, Sureshta Khajuria State Secretary Mahilla Wing JKUT. Those who joined LJP include Sham Singh ,Jammu Province Secretary ,Vikram Singh District Rural Preside Suhas Khajuria, Rohit Rana,Amit Sharma,Parvez Ahmed,Himanshu Sharma,Mehmood Ali,Rohit Kumar,Raj Kumar,Ajay Kumar,Shadi Lal, Moti Lal.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik said that party is on expansion mode and will reach everyone in Jammu and Kashmir and give the opportunity to become part of change.
The governance is missing in Bureaucratic Raj , the LJP is struggling hard to get back statehood and also contest and win ensuing elections.
The Mass joining of Different political dignitaries is a move keeping in view the forthcoming Assembly elections in J&K.
The LJP feels that with the vision of peace ,progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir UT there is a potential for the party to emerge as a political force in J&K taking youth with the mainstream and right direction.
Malik said the LJP would give it all to make a mark in the coming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Our workers are the backbone of the party and all efforts should be made to involve the youth in evolving ways to strengthen the party and also reach out to the people who are facing the worst possible era of misgovernance and political instability due to the opportunistic government at the helm in J&K,” he said.
Malik added, “The struggle for the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir is not a short-term battle; it is a long-term commitment. LJP has all along strived for strengthening democracy at all the levels to have optimum participation of people in decision making and shaping their own destiny.”He called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to stand strong and united and join hands with the party in its mission. “Together, we can pave the way for a brighter future, where democracy prevails and fundamental rights are upheld,” Malik added.
