Another key finding from the study said that even years after the study ended, women who followed a low-fat and plant-based diet had a 15 per cent less chance of dying from breast cancer, as compared to those who didn’t.According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer was ranked second among types of cancers with the highest mortality rates among women.
