On the eve of Vishwakarma Prakash Diwas, Shree Vishwakarma Library organized a poetry session in Vidhya Sagar Memorial Hall today on 12-02-2017 in which total twelve poets of different languages participated and Shri Rashpal Verma , Vice Chairman , OBC Board was chief Guest. On this occasion, community Magazine ‘ Vishwakarma Yug 2016″ was also released.
Welcoming the galaxy of poets , Sh Ramesh Angotra , threw light on the importance of poetry in the society. He said that poets and writers make a very important section of society and due recognisition must be given to such people.
The prominent poets who participated are : J.R Sagar ; Basant Vyagi; Harbans Lal Harsh from Akhnoor; Saroj Bala from Kathua ; Om Dalmotra ; Chaman Panthi ; Master Raj Kumar from Hiranagar ; Girdhari Lal from samba ; Abdul Qadir Kundria ; Neelam Verma ; Rattan Bhardwaj from Akhnoor ; Balwant Kataria ; Lokesh Chander ; and Raman Chalotra
On this occasion demise of great lyricist of film industry, Naqsh Lyllpuri was also condoled. Balwant Kataria threw light on the life and great work done by Naqsh Lyllpuri, a renowned Urdu poet and lyricist , who passes away on 22-01-2016. Kataria also conducted the proceedings of the function.
Among the organizers, Joginder Angotra and Charanjeet Bitta played a dominant role. They, while elaborating the various programs of SVLARC said that Libray has gained a good public support and appealed all concerned to achieve much more.
Prominent among others who were present included Kuldeep Verma ( former VC OBC Adv Board), Ashok Salgotra, O.P Kataria, Ram Lal Principal, Janak Raj Changotra, Mangal Dass Verma. Vijay Barna.
