Today a Mahan Gurmat Samagam was organised on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas “BAISAKHI” by the District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committe, Jammu at Gurdwara Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Chand Nagar, Jammu. In the Samagam large number of devotees participated.
On the occasion people of all colors and creeds participated in which Bhai Deputy Singh Ji – Kathavachak, Dharam Parchar Commitee, SGPC, Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Amritsar, Bhai Khajan Singh Ji – Parcharak, Sri Amritsar Sahib Wale, Ragi Jatha Bhai Lalit Singh Ji – Sohana Wale, Dhadhi Jatha Bhai Amarjeet Singh Ji Chitti Gurdaspur Wale and local Ragi Jathas participated and recited the Gurbani Kirtan and thrown light on the history of Khalsa Sajna Diwas ‘Baisakhi’. Gatka Pardarshni was also held on the occasion in which Akal Sahai Gatka Akhara Gurdaspur and Jammu and Kashmir Gatka Association participated. Prominent those who were present S. Jagjit Singh – President DGPC Jammu, S. Harjinder Singh – Member DGPC Jammu, S. Ramnik Singh -Member DGPC Jammu, Raja Singh – Member DGPC Jammu, Darbinder Singh – Cashier DGPC Jammu. Guru Ka Langar was also served among the devotees.
