Mahila Cong to setup booth level committees

To start campaign for setting up booth level workers committee, a meeting of state Executive Meeting of Pradesh Mahila Congress was held today under the leadership of Ms. Indu Pawar, President Pradesh Mahila Congress and former MLA. All office bearers of the J&K State and district presidents of Pradesh Mahila Congress attended the meeting in which decision was taken to set up booth level committees of the Mahila Congress workers.
The meeting was presided by G.A Mir, President Pradesh Congress Committee J&K in the presence of Sh. Raman Bhalla senior congress leader.
Sh. Mir stressed for selection of booth level nominees who are best workers and have capabilities for converting votes in favour of Congress. Strengthening of booth level, District level and assembly segment level nominees if work whole heartedly and sincerely will bring better results for us. He laid further stress that this is time bound and all senior level, District level and assembly segment level office bearers should interact and take quick decision s for ensuring nomination of above said workers.2
Addressing the meeting Mrs Pawar exhorted party workers to come forward to shoulder responsibility in the coming Lok Sabha and assembly elections in J&K. She asked all participants in the meeting to set up booth level committees of Mahila Congress to ensure victory of the party in coming polls.
She further asked workers to establish committees at district level so that it would be further expanded at block and booth levels. “I am here to help you in establishing booth level committees across the state”, she said and observed that these committees have to play very important role in the victory of party.
Highlighting role of booth level committees, she said that these committees have to mobilize voters during the campaign and have to crucial role in the polling to ensure maximum polling of party supporters. Mrs Pawar further called upon Mahila Congress activists to reach out to the masses to expose failures of the BJP led NDA government at the Centre. She said that results of the assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh were beginning of the downfall of BJP across the country. “Countdown of Modi government has already started. We have to just to accelerate the process by reached out each and every household with programmes and policies of the Congress party”, she said.
