Continuing with the motive of reaching out to people in their local areas and make them aware about the “cashless transactions”, BJP Mahila Morcha Gandhi Nagar Mandal President Rekha Chouhan organised a programme at Modern High School, Nanak Nagar, under the leadership of Purnima Sharma, BJP Mahila Morcha State President. A large number of students and staff of the school were educated on the importance of this new concept of transactions.
Purnima Sharma spoke in details about the advantages of cashless economy and asked them to make others also aware about it. She said that the present governments at the centre and in the State are committed for the upliftment of the living standards of poor for which a number of welfare schemes have been launched. She said that the cashless transactions will also prove to be a strong hammer on corruption, black money and flow of fake currency in the country.
Rekha Chouhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized for the empowerment of women. She said that it is the duty of the students also to aware their localities or friends and will do atleast five digital transactions in a day.
Prerna Nanda General Secretary Mahila Morcha Gandhi Nagar Mandal, welcomed the dignitaries and introduced to the participants.
On this occasion, Prerna Nanda also made aware about the usage of Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Adhar Enabled Payment System Cards (POS).Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), E-wallet.
