On the occasion of 124th Birth anniversary of His Highness Great Grand Maharaja Of Jammu and Kashmir Shriman Hari Singh, a programme was organised by Rajput Sabha at Samba District in presence of various prominent persons and dignitaries like
Chief Guest MLC Shri Ajatstru Singh, Guest of Honor Hon’ble MLA Samba Dr D.K Manyal, President Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha J&k Kr. Narayan Singh , President AKRS Samba Capt. Inderjit Singh & others.
While in the functions various speakers remembered the valour of Maharaja Hari Singh and urged upon the people to follow the great work done and bravery of Maharaja. On this occasion various young talents were awarded with trophies for working and contributing to rejuvenate Dogra Culture.
A young turban tier from Kachi Chawni, Jammu namely Manish Singh Jamwal was conferred with a special award for encouraging young people to wear traditional Dogra/Rajput Turban on special occasions as well as teaching the skills to young Dogra children’s from Jammu.
Manish while interacting with the media persons said that He has been passionate about rejuvenating the Dogra Culture especially in modern times when Dogra people are forgetting their culture and language.
