Max Life Insurance, one of India’s leading life insurance companies,today concluded a three-day financial literacy & insurance awareness programme in Jammu held between 5th and 7th February across five schools covering 500 students of class 9 to 12. This was conducted as part of Max Life Insurance’s employee volunteering initiative – ‘Pehal’. The company intends to cover more schools in Jammu and across five more cities this year. The Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Tourism, Horticulture, Floriculture and Parks, Ms. Priya Sethi was also present at the occasion distributed prizes to high performer school students and volunteers from management college. The function was presided over by Mr. Dilbagsingh,IPS ADGP security, Jammu & Kashmir.
Gracing the occasion, the Minister of State, Ms. Priya Sethi said, “It is a great initiative by Max Life Insurance to introduce financial education for school children. This would teach the children how to effectively manage money and make them financially responsible.”
