Sh Chander Mohan Gupta, Hon’ble Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation conducted extensive tour in the areas of Rajpura, Shiv Nagar etc of W.No.33 & undertook various development as well as other activities.
He inaugurated the construction/Renovation work of various lanes at Shiv Nagar Jammu which will be completed at the cost of Rs.10.41 Lakh estimate and which was the long pending demands of the inhabitants of the locality. Sh. Mohit Gupta Xen, Sh. Anil Sharma AEE, Sh. S.K.Bhat, Junior Engineer & other field staff alongwith prominent residents i.e. Sh. Ved Parkash, Sh. Natha Ram, Sh. Mohan Lal etc. were also present during the drive.
Later J&K State Consumer Protection Organization (regd) organized a simple but impressive function at press club Jammu on state consumer day where Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta Hon’ble Mayor was the Chief Guest. Sh Des Raj Danish President of organization alongwith Sh Yash pal Gupta President Retailers association, prominent businessman & large numbers of consumers as well as Sh Sanjeev Gupta , Deputy Commissioner, Food safety J&K & other officers of the various related departments were also present during the function president welcomed all the dignitaries and said that due to abrogation of article 370 from the state more rights have been given to the consumer He stressed that rights of consumers including display of proper rate list & other facilities should be displayed on the establishments for the benefits of consumers. Mayor also threw light on the various activities under taken by the different departments for the welfare of consumers & assured that all the genuine demands of the consumer protection organization will be redressed on priority basis and praise the organization who is doing tremendous job for the society.
