JAMMU, Dec 19:
Organised by the Sambo Association of Jammu and Kashmir (SAJK), the two-day 4th Jammu District Championship got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The event was declared open by Mayor of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta, who was chief guest. He interacted with young participants and encouraged them to take on sports in a big way.
Also present were Vikas Gupta and Suraj Bhan Singh. The competition is being held under the guidance of organising secretary, Rohit Sadhotra.

BOYS:
Under-10 years: 18 kg: Ranvir Singh, Ist; Shivansh, 2nd; Tanshu and Bridhvik Singh, joint 3rd. 20 kg: Suryansh Singh, Ist; Vishav Dev Singh, 2nd; Aprameya and Dhananjay, joint 3rd.
GIRLS: Under-10 years: 18 kg: Nagampreet Kour, Ist; Jivashi, 2nd; Tanushka and Aagya Baru, joint 3rd.
