Sh Chander Mohan Gupta, Hon’ble Mayor JMC in collaboration with Social Welfare Department organized programme for the welfare of poor & needy persons at Shiv nagar area of ward no.33. He distributed passbooks under Ladli Beti scheme to the number of beneficiaries under centrally sponsored scheme. Madam Akanshsha kalsotra, Child Development Project Officer, Jammu. Smt Amar Jyoti Supervisor ICDS, Smt Swarna Devi, Smt Pinky Rani, Anganwadi workers & large number of inhabitants as well as beneficiaries were also present during the simple but impressive function which was organized for the benefit & welfare of needy persons. Mayor as well as Child Director Project Officer also threw light about the other welfare schemes of the department & asked the general public to come forward & take full benefits of these schemes.
Mayor assured the gathering that he is committed to make the Jammu city neat, clean & green under Swacch Bharat Mission & he is working hard to provide facilities of all the schemes specially meant for poor & needy persons.
