The Hon’ble Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation Sh Chander Mohan Gupta today toured different localities of Shakti Nagar areas along with Hon’ble councillor of ward no.29 Sh. Surinder Singh and accompanied by Executive Engineer (Central) JMC, Health officer JMC, Municipal Veterinary Officer JMC, Chief Transport Officer, JMC & other field staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation. The Hon’ble Mayor took stock of the grievances of the residents of Shakti nagar area which were raised by them regarding prevailing sanitation condition, menace of stray dogs/animals, Proper removal of garbage from their lanes on routine basis, remodeling of lanes/drains & nallahs flowing through Shakti nagar area which always creates havoc in rainy season & water enters into their houses due to blockage & needs its remodeling with pacca bed & sides. The Hon’ble Mayor directed the concerned officers on spot regarding the grievances of the residents & sort it out on war footing & also appeal to the general public to cooperate with the Municipal authorities which are always at their disposal to make Jammu a really Smart City.
Later, Hon’ble Mayor inaugurated the famous Royal Circus at Purmandal Morh Jammu & appreciated the management to start such events in Jammu city& people especially children will enjoy such type of circus inspite of their busy schedule and will see the wonderful activities of the local as well as foreign artists in reality on the stage.
