Continuing his drive to provide better civic and development amenities to the people of Jammu city, Sh Chander Mohan Gupta, Hon’ble Mayor JMC today 15/07/2019 toured in the areas of Rajpura Shiv nagar, Shakti Nagar of ward no.33 and met with residents of the locality & took stock of the problems being faced by them which includes, renovations of drains/nallahs & their proper disilting well before rainy season, lifting of garbage on routine basis, installation of street lights , lifting of stray dogs & animals etc. Sh Surinder Chowdhary Hon’ble councilor of ward no. 29 Sh Balwan Singh ward president and other prominent citizens including Sh. Ved Sharma, Munish Khajuria, Atul Bakshi, Baba Sharma, Satpal Khajuria as well as Sh Ashok Sharma, AEE JMC, Junior Engineer of the concerned area & other officers of JMC were also present on the occasion. Hon’ble Mayor also visited Shamshan Ghat Shakti Nagar & started the work of installation of tiles in the shamshan Ghat on the demands of general public & directed the engineering wing to complete the said work on war footing & assured the inhabitants that all their other demands may be fulfilled on priority basis. He also appeal to the general public not to throw garbage, filth etc in the public drains/nallahs & lanes & cooperate with the JMC in making Jammu city neat, clean & green.
