Jammu, July 11 :Continuing his drive to provide better basic & development activities to the inhabitants of Jammu city, Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation today on 11-07-2019 visited the areas of Marble Market Ext. Trikuta Nagar Satyam Road etc. of Ward No.52 and started the construction/renovation work of lanes & drains in the said areas. Sh. Ajay Gupta Hon’ble Councilor of Ward No.52, Sh. Arun Gupta, Executive Engineer concerned Junior Engineer of the area & other field staff of JMC, Inhabitants of Ward No.52 were also present during the tour. He directed the Engineering wing to expedite the other pending development activities in the area on war footing. Mayor along with concerned councilor & officers of Forest Department also planted number of saplings in the ward & also requested the general public to plant more & more saplings in their area to keep their surroundings neat & green. Later Mayor also attended a grand function which was organized by the department of Hindustan Petroleum Ltd. Jammu wing at Bahu Plaza Jammu under swatch Bharat Mission in which number of dedicated SKC’S were honored for their best contribution to the society in keeping Jammu city neat, clean & green. He appreciated such effort of Hindustan petroleum Ltd which will encourage the safaikaramcharies of Jammu Municipal Corporation to work with more dedication & hard work. He also appeals to the general Public to cooperate with Safaikaramcharies and other field staff of JMC in making Jammu really a smart City under Swacch Bharat Mission.
