Continuing his Endeavour to provide better development & civic amenities to the people of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation in presence of Sh Kavinder Gupta Ex Deputy Chief Minister, J&K, Madam Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor, Sh Vinay Gupta Distt President Jammu, madam Jyoti Devi councilor of ward no: 53, Sh Neeraj (Lucky) Puri councilor of ward no: 54 today on 17/08/2020 kick started the upgradation work of park situated at sec-1 Trikuta Nagar known as Slathia park, Sh Sham Lal , Sh K.D Sharma , Sh Ganesh kumar , Sh Rajinder Sharma , Sh Jatinder Sharma, Sh Sahil Gupta, Madam Prerna Nanda, Sh Manmeet Singh, Madam Manju, Madam Poonam & other prominent inhabitants of the Trikuta Nagar area were also present during the function Sh Sunil kumar Sharma Executive Engineer, Sh Ashok kumar Sharma, Asstt Executive engineer of division-IV concerned contractor also accompanied the mayor during the tour.
Mayor said that this was the long pending demands of the public and has been delayed only due to lockdown and non availability of construction material and labourers and the upgradtion work in terms of laying of tiles at the appropriate space of the park, commissioning of open gyms with requisite machinery, construction of shed to get relief from rain & sun, installation of benches for sitting and other allied works. Mayor said that this upgradtion work of the park will be executed at an estimate cost of Rs 25.00 lacs only and directed the concerned engineering division to complete the work with best quality material, upto the satisfaction of the locals and within the stipulated time period and said that Jammu Municipal Corporation is committed to provide best development activities for the people of Jammu city & appeal to them to come forward, cooperate with the department in all the other development works being undertaken in various wards Jammu to make it really a smart city.
He also appreciated the efforts of concerned Councilor & his team who has done a lot in making the ward no: 53 Trikuta Nagar a modal one with limited resources and he will try his best to fulfill all the other demands put forth by her regarding completing of leftover development works of the ward in phased manner.
