The Hon’ble Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta, visited the area of Municipal Market parade Jammu alongwith Sh Prem Singh Chib Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Jammu Muni cipal Corporation, Sh Sunil Kumar Gupta, Revenue Officer, JMC and Smt. Neelam Rajput , Revenue Inspector of the said area. The Hon’ble Mayor took stock of the Municipal Market Parade and directed all the shopkeepers of Municipal Market not to display their items in front of their allotted Shops/Kiosks and keep their belongings within their Shops otherwise stern action may be taken against the defaulters and also maintain cleanliness in & around their estab lishments in order to avoid spreading any type of diseases (dengue) during this season.
The officers were also directed to chalk out a comprehensive plan for establishing moder nized shopping complex alongwith sufficient parking of vehicles in the Municipal land of parade at an earliest. The Heath & transport section of Jammu Municipal Corporation was also directed to get the said area of Municipal Market and its surrounding neat, clean by deploying sufficient sanitation staff on routine basis.
The Hon’ble Mayor also appeal to the general public to cooperate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation staff and avoid using of polythene bags and not to throw garbage in the public lane and drain so that the goal of swacch bharat mission can be achieved with the active participation / cooperation of people of Jammu city .
