He said that this strong foundation has made us bold enough to take through the decision even after we were not enjoying majority in Rajya Sabha. He said that this inspiration has enabled us to fulfill the dreams of Dr. Mookherjee, Dr. Ambedkar, Sardar Patel, Atal ji and other great personalities.
Anurag Thakur, in his address, said that this is the day, he feels that his dream has come true. Our 3 generations have maintained the promise to take his mission forward. He related the event to the ill treatment of Gandhi ji by British Ticket Checker which gave birth to a great freedom movement in India. And in the similar way, we got our mission completed in August 2019 giving real tributes to Mokherjee ji. He said that Pt. Prem Nath Dogra was offered Ministerial birth in the J&K Cabinet, but he refused as he could not think of using 2 flags on his vehicle. He said that Home Minister Amit Shah is very liberal towards house arrested leaders in J&K providing them Hollywood movies, gym facilities & brown breads to eat, as we remember also the times when our leaders were thrown way to far off places & abused and added that these are the “House Guests & not House Arrests”. He said that these valley politicians have exploited public machinery after getting only 10% votes.
