MENDHAR, July, 21 :
Mendhar police along with civil Administration on wednesday organized ‘Eid Milan’ programme here at city chowk Mendhar. People from all Religions congratulated each other with hugs and by saying ‘Eid Mubarak’ and distributed sweets.
On the occasion Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dr.sahil Jandyal (kas), SDPO Mendhar Zaheer Abbas jafri, Tehsildar Mendhar Dr.vikram sharma (kas), Block Medical officer (BMO) Dr pervaiz ahmed khan, Satish sharma, Advocate akhlaq chouhan, Maulana mufti Sultan naqshbandi, Beside some other renowned Locals of the town were present.
SDM mendhar Dr.Sahil jandyal said that Eid gives us message of Love, unity and brotherhood and said Eid-ul-adha was celebrated with religious fervour here, people celebrared eid by following all the covid-19 SOPs.He extended warm greeting to the people on the eve of Eid, wishing them well being and prosperity. In his message SDM asked people to regularly follows covid-19 appropriate behavior and should take all precautionary measure.
SDPO zaheer abbas jafri (JKPS) told in order to thanks people for their cooperation during the covid pandemic with administration and also to further strengthen brotherhood, peace and communal harmony among each other this Eid Milan programme was organized where we have distributed sweets with each others with an aim to further strong this bond of communal Harmony and brotherhood.
Mufti jamia masjid maulana sultan naqshbandi appreciated the role of Administration and thanks them for organizing this Eid-milan programme on behalf of people of mendhar.He congratulated people of the UT jammu and kashmir on the eve of EId-ul-Adha.
