Milind Soman and girlfriend Ankita Konwar started making headlines when their marriage news was doing the rounds on social media. Neither accepting nor refuting the date, the lovebirds got hitched today in a close-knit ceremony at Alibaug. Milind’s rumoured ex and actress Dipannita Sharma was also present at the wedding. While we are gushing over the pics and the videos from the marriage, there are some female fans who are envious of Ankita for getting Milind Soman as a husband.
The couple has repeatedly faced trolling for the unconventional age gap but never paid heed to them. Just after their marriage news broke, internet is flooding with a varied range of reactions. While fans are pouring in with wishes, some female fans are too sad that the handsome hunk got hitched. They took to Twitter to express their sadness.
Yesterday, model-actress Dipannita Sharma, who was also part of the wedding, sharing about the marriage to BT. She said, “The mehndi was a lot of fun, with Assamese, Hindi and Marathi songs being played in the background. Everybody, including the couple, had a great time dancing.” She further added, “Even the decor was a mix of Assamese and Marathi cultures. The wedding will also be a blend of both cultures, as Ankita is from Assam and Milind is a Maharashtrian. They want to keep it simple. We can’t wait to see them married.” Rumours are rife that they will be having a reception in the foreign states which will be hosted by Milind and Ankita’s friends.
