Sangam Theatre Group Reasi released the Dogri Song album “Mithian Mithian Gallan” at Office of the Taskeen News Headquarters here today.
On the occasion Senior Journalist Janab Sohail Kazmi was the chief guest while Padmashree Romalo Ram guest of honour, The album release marked a significant milestone in promoting the Dogri language and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the region. Sohail Kazmi applauded the efforts of the talented team of Disha Kala Jagat Akhnoor behind the album and promoting Dogri culture , language and contributing to the preservation of the region’s unique artistic heritage through their music album.,” he added. He emphasized the urgent need to preserve and promote regional languages like Dogri.
Raja Aamir Khan and Rupali Sharma performed main lead in the music album and other artists who performed in the video were Aasim Nadeem, Ambika, Radhika, Nidhi Singh Thakur and Kajal The album, titled “Mithian Mithian Gallan” features soulful singing of renowned singer Ashok Kumar while the Lyricist was given by Keemat Raj Sharma, and directed by Ravi Kumar Dhanraj Audio & Video Studio Jammu. Music by Paul recording Studio Pathankot, Costume design by Aamir Khan and Makeup was done by Rupali Sharma, Aditya Bhardwaj producer of this video , the song has been shooted at various locations of District Reasi.
Other eminent personality who present on the occasion included Nirbhay Slathia, Akram Khan, Keemat Raj Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Sahil Mahajan, Krishan Lal, Shubam Kotwal, Shahnawaz Tang and Mohd Latif.
M. Akram Khan director Sangam Theatre Group said that Jammu and Kashmir’s youth possess immense talent that should be nurtured and provided with adequate platforms.
