MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta conducted an extensive tour of Ward No. 32, Saini Mohalla, where he interacted with residents to assess on-ground civic conditions, especially focusing on issues related to lanes, drains, and sanitation infrastructure.
During the interaction, several locals highlighted their grievances regarding improper drainage systems, choked lanes, and the lack of timely repair work, which had caused inconvenience to daily life, particularly during the rainy season. Residents urged the MLA to expedite developmental works in the area.
Responding to their concerns, Arvind Gupta assured the public that their issues would be addressed on a priority basis. He said, “It is our responsibility to ensure that the basic civic infrastructure in each ward is functional and up to the mark. The issues raised by the residents today will be taken seriously, and necessary instructions will be given to the concerned departments to start the repair and maintenance work at the earliest.”
He added, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of BJP’s state leadership, our focus remains on development that reaches the grassroots.
No ward or mohalla will be left behind in the journey of Viksit Bharat.”
The MLA was accompanied by former Deputy Mayor Dharam Veer Singh Jamwal, Mandal President Anil Angral, Kushant Prajapati, and several BJP Karyakartas including Satha Bhushan Dubey, Rahul Nargotra, Rajesh Saini, Ram Pal Saini, Bachan Bhagat, Kali Jyoti Prakash, Ravinder Khajuria, Guru Charan Singh, Raj Saini, Binny Singh, along with local residents of the ward.
The visit ended with Gupta instructing local party workers to keep close coordination with the community and ensure that every complaint is monitored until resolved. He also urged residents to actively participate in the development process by providing regular feedback.
